Hello everyone! I'm excited to bring you today's post featuring a fresh, bright spring entryway with country cottage style.
Let's begin with a front door makeover!

BEFORE
Here is our front door as it was installed a few years ago. Funny thing, this front door is how we came to know the previous homeowners... Matt was hired to repair the door frame, install the door, and replace some studs in the foyer. Now it's time to add our personal touch and paint this door!

Matt sanded, primed, taped, and applied the first coat of paint. Only a few touch up spots and the tape can come off! Paint is such a great way to freshen and give a space a face - lift!

With a fresh new door a welcoming, spring-y entry would be just the ticket to bring it all together!

To the Shaker peg rail Matt made I added the garden hat "wreath" from last year, and my own gardening hat. How nice this peg rail has been for uses like this! Here is Peter rabbit who has made appearances both at the Beatrix Potter tea party and in the Spring hutch decor last year. This bunny is popular!

Above the buffet hangs the lavender wreath from which I pulled extra lavender springs to create a vintage inspired French bouquet.

AFTER
I love how the door turned out and after living with it for a few days it seems it has always been this color! I really like the spring green next to the orange-y red brick.

Thank you for joining me today as we gave our entry a facelift, I hope you found some inspiration!
Until next time take care,
Rachel
