Christmas Home Tour 2024

Hello friends!

Matt & I are pleased to bring you this year’s Christmas cottage home tour. As most of you know our home has been created with a mix of thrifted, gifted, and antique items. This look has evolved over the last six years as my interior design style has developed.

Welcome, please come on in!

This little living room seems to become cozier every year. We are especially enjoying the (new to us) English rolled-arm sofa. This is the first year to have the sofa at Christmas time and it looks so pretty under the mirror with the vintage hand-painted eggs floating above it!

Every year I pick up a couple of new ornaments and maybe a garland, or some such. This year I chose the two deer and the twirly grapevine trees for the mantel. I like that it looks full, yet simple.

Oh, how I love the blue and white planter holding our tiny tree! Last year I incorporated the soft blue throughout our decor. Since Matt & I both really liked it we went with the same scheme this year.

It’s such a toss up to say which room is my favorite when it comes to decorating for Christmas… I love the red transferware dishes against the creamy white walls. A touch of red goes a long way.

Matt & I wish you and your loved ones a blessed, joyful Christmas season celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with family & friends. Until next year…

Merry Christmas!

Rachel

Rachael – the home looks lovely, comfy and festive for the holidays! So very sorry to hear about Matt’s Grandfather, especially during the holiday season. We lost my Grandfather the day before Christmas Eve and had his funeral on Eve or he would have to be held over until after New Years…it is great that he can find joy with you and your home and faith as you mourn your loss. Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

Your Christmas tour is beautful, so much to see. The Christmas village is magical, I want to live there LOL. I love everything–the nativity, the Christmas tree, the ornaments hanging in front of the mirror, the beautiful kitchen decor, the chandelier, the mantel, just everything. I’ve watched your home evolve over the years, you and Matt have created a charming home. Your decorating style is elegant, warm and cozy. Merry Christmas to you both and condolences on the loss of Matt’s grandfather.
